Booking Terms & Conditions
This page sets out all the terms and conditions upon which ITV Broadcasting Ltd incorporated and registered in England with company number 00955957, whose registered office is at 2 Waterhouse Square, Holborn, London, United Kingdom, EC1N 2AE (“we”, “us” or “our”) provides the ITV Daytime Studios Tour (“Tour”) to you and/or your visitors (“you” or “your) (the “Terms”).
The Tour is a behind-the-scenes walking tour lasting approx. 90 minutes, taking visitors around the actual studios used for the filming and production of ITV’s Daytime shows: Good Morning Britain, This Morning, Lorraine & Loose Women. The Tour is located in White City in the Hammersmith and Fulham district of West London.
Please read these Terms carefully before making a booking (“Booking”) for the Tour. By making a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms and the terms of any relevant booking company. We shall have the benefit of any term or condition you agree to with any third party as part of the Booking and a breach of such third party shall be considered a breach of these Terms.
All bookings for the Tour are fulfilled by Accesso. Their full terms and conditions are provided at the time of booking.
All persons wishing to visit the Tour must making a Booking in advance. Payment must be made in full at the time of making a Booking, either by credit or debit card. We do not accept cash or cheques as payment.
Once a Booking has been made, you will receive an email confirming payment has been made, your Booking reference number, and your allocated Tour date and time. This email acts as your proof of purchase. Please check that you have received this email following purchase, as we will accept no responsibility should you not receive this for reasons outside of our control, and advise you check your Junk or Spam folder. It is your responsibility to check all details on your Booking confirmation are correct, as mistakes cannot always be rectified. Your Booking confirmation must be presented at the main entrance to the Tour – this can be displayed on your phone/tablet, or as an A4 printed copy. We accept no responsibility for the loss or theft of any Booking confirmation outside of our control.
Only Bookings made directly with us, or one of our authorised sales partners, are valid for admission.
Bookings – General Terms
All persons entering the Tour must be part of a valid Booking, which must be retained at all times by you or a member of your party and readily available for inspection, if required, by any member of staff. Failure to produce a valid Booking confirmation may result in your removal from the Tour.
We reserve the right to refuse entry to, or eject from the Tour, any person who fails to comply with these Terms.
Whilst we anticipate that all studios will be accessible by the Tour during our operating hours, there may be occasions where some studios are closed due to production requirements. At our discretion, we reserve the right to amend the Tour route accordingly, without prior notice.
Bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable, and are not for resale. Any such resale will deem the Booking void.
Allocated Tour Time
During the process of making your Booking, you will be given the opportunity to select a date and time for arrival at the Tour. This will be displayed clearly on your Booking confirmation. It is your responsibility to ensure that you and your party arrive in time for the allocated Tour time as shown on your Booking confirmation.
You are expected to arrive for the Tour 15 minutes before your allocated Tour time, as shown on your Booking confirmation. We will endeavour to accommodate visitors who arrive after this time, but cannot guarantee entry to the Tour to visitors who arrive late and miss their allocated Tour time. During busy periods, it may not be possible to allow you or your party access to the Tour on that day, in which case you will be required to re-book an allocated Tour time.
We reserve the right to amend an allocated Tour time once it has been issued to you, but we will always endeavour to notify you as soon as possible. Should we need to cancel your Booking, you may choose to select an allocated Tour time for an alternative date and time, or cancel your booking whereupon we will refund you all monies you have paid to us for your Booking, but no further compensation will be paid.
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult, aged 18 years or over, at all times whilst on the Tour or on our premises. Children shall remain under the control and supervision of a person aged 18 years or over at all times.
We endeavour to make as much of the Tour accessible to all our visitors as possible, due to the nature of the Live Television Studios however, this may not always be possible. For full details, please see our accessibility statement. Any visitors requiring wheelchair access or with additional needs are asked to contact us prior to Booking, so we can ensure the best experience for all. A complimentary carer ticket may be booked with any guest registered with a disability, proof on entitlement must be shown with tickets on arrival.
Whilst we aim to ensure all prices on our websites, systems and contracts are correct, errors may occur. If we discover an error with pricing relating to your Booking, we will endeavour to inform you as soon as possible, giving you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling your existing Booking. All ticket prices are in UK Sterling and inclusive of VAT.
Where ticket prices vary according to age, the following provisions apply:
A person of 16 years or older is classed as an Adult. A person aged between 5 and 15 years (inclusive) is classed as a Child. There is no admission fee for children aged 4 and under, however each child must be included on the Booking. Concession tickets including Senior Citizens aged 60+ and Students, with a valid student ID – which must be presented on arrival with your tickets.
Tickets for the Tour cannot be used for advertising, promotions, contests or sweepstakes unless formal written permission is given by us. Unlawful resale or attempted unlawful resale of Tour tickets is grounds for seizure or cancellation of those tickets, and this will be done with no refund or other compensation.
Health & Safety
From time to time, the Tour staff may draw visitors’ attention to certain health and safety policies and procedures, to which all visitors must adhere to including fire evacuation.
All visitors to the Tour must comply with all relevant safety regulations and announcements whilst attending the Tour. Any breach of these terms or any unacceptable behaviour likely to cause damages, nuisance, injury to any other visitor or member of staff or the Tour itself shall give rise to the right of the Tour staff to eject you and any visitor from the Tour or our premises, if in our reasonable opinion admission might be a risk to the safety of others and/or affect the enjoyment of the Tour by others and in particular (but without limitation) where there is a breach of the site rules.
Our Liability To You
If we fail to comply with these Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of the Terms or our negligence, but we are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable.
Loss or damage is foreseeable if they were an obvious consequence of our breach or if they were contemplated by you and us any anytime.
We do not exclude or limit in any way our liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by our negligence or the negligence of our employees, agents or subcontractors;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
- breach of the terms implied by section 2 of the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982 (title and quiet possession).
We reserve the right to refuse entry on to the Tour or remove any person who:
- arrives late for the Tour (as relevant to the Booking);
- is suspected to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol;
- does not respect the nature of the attraction and the Tour more generally;
- behaves in a manner which is disruptive to the enjoyment of other visitors;
- behaves in a manner which compromises the safety of other visitors or staff;
- uses verbal or physical threats or insults toward any member of staff; or
- goes beyond the boundaries outlined by the Tour guide.
All visitors are admitted subject to a condition that, if requested to do so, they will allow themselves and/or their belongings to be searched.
Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of your Tour to allow for all security checks to take place before the Tour starts. Visitors will be subject to a person and bag search. Please only bring essential items and keep belongings to a minimum.
Please note there are no temporary storage facilities for non-permitted bags, so it will be your responsibility to find a safe temporary storage facility.
The following items are permitted on the Tour:
Small bags including handbags (under 40cm x 35cm x 19cm – approximately the size of an A3 sheet of paper).
- Large Backpacks (Over 40cm x 35cm x 19cm – approximately the size of an A3 sheet of paper);
- Large bags including shopping bags (over 40cm x 35cm x 19cm – approximately the size of an A3 sheet of paper);
- Any item where the contents cannot be verified on search such as wrapped presents/gifts; and/or
- Smoking, which is strictly prohibited within all areas.
Due to the nature of the Tour being undertaken on a ‘live’ filming lot, we may cancel any dates which have been provisionally allocated for the Tour at any time for any reason. We shall not be liable to the purchaser or, if applicable, the subcontractors for any such cancellation. Any group purchasers shall ensure that there are in place processes in the event of cancellation which will include communicating with potential visitors who have booked tickets; provision to such visitors of full refunds.
Due to the nature of the Tour being undertaken on a ‘live’ filming lot, we may alter or amend the duration and or the route of the Tour to protect the production of each show utilising the studio spaces.
- No-Shows. Standard fees for no-shows are 100% of the booking.
- Refunds. There are no refunds for tickets bought unless you are advised by us that the Tour will not be running.
- Tour capacity. All Tours operate to a set capacity of 20 spaces.
- Translators. Any groups wishing to bring a translator will be required to book a private Tour.
- Variation. We have the right to vary these Terms from time to time by either notifying you of the variation in writing or by updating these Terms as they appear on our website.
- From time to time we, or other authorised parties may carry out photography and/or video recording and/or other monitoring on or in the vicinity of the experience, which may feature visitors. By accepting these Terms, you agree that the operator or any authorised party may use such images in perpetuity in any promotional, advertising or publicity material in any format whatsoever. You further agree that all rights in these materials rests with the operator or such authorised party (as the case may be).
- Any promotional information material that is produced to promote the Tour must be approved by us in writing before use, and any intellectual property rights in respect of the Tour must be acknowledged to be owned by ITV.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of England & Wales. We and you both agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. However, if you are a resident of Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are a resident of Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.
