About the Tour

  • Are there toilets on site?

    Of course!
    Toilet facilities for all are located at the start and end of the tour.
    Should you need to use the facilities during the tour, please let your guide know and they will arrange this for you.

  • Can I bring a camera/camcorder with me?

    Cameras are more than welcome, and you will be encouraged to take lots of photographs during the tour itself.
    We do not allow video recording, live streaming or footage capturing at any time during the tour.

  • Can I take a pushchair/buggy around with me?

    Regrettably, following a Health and Safety review of the Tour route and facilities, we are no longer able to allow or accommodate Prams or Pushchairs on the Tour, and we do not have the ability to store prams or pushchairs during the tour.

  • Can I take photos on tour?

    We really encourage our guests to take as many photos as they would like on the tour, and we will give you plenty of time to do so.
    There will also be an opportunity for you to have an official souvenir photograph* on the famous This Morning Sofa.

    We only ask no Video or live streaming within the studios.

    *Purchase of the souvenir photograph is optional.

  • Do you take cash or card onsite (at the tour)?

    We operate as a cash-free site, therefore any payments made on site must be made by Card.
    We accept all major credit and debit cards, and contactless payments (including Apple and Android pay).

  • How long does the tour take?

    The tour takes approximately 90-minutes. Starting at the Tour Meeting Point outside the Television Centre main entrance and finishing at the same location.
    We do ask all of our guests to arrive 15-minutes ahead of the tour time in order to check in, complete security checks and ensure tours run on time.
    There will be time after your tour to ask your guide any questions.

  • Is the tour suitable for children?

    Of course! We will also be advertising specific Family Friendly tours of the studios throughout the holidays.

    Due to the tours taking place in a live studio environment, we do ask that children follow the same health and safety rules given at the start of each tour, and any guest who becomes a danger to themselves, other guests, the studios or the quality of the tour may be asked to leave.

  • Is there a minimum age restriction?

    We want the tour to be open to any and all guests who wish to attend, and our Guides will ensure that every group has a great time with us. Specially adapted tours aimed specifically at younger members of the group will be advertised throughout the year (particularly during school holidays).
    Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult at all times, and any younger children must be supervised at all times and kept with the adult throughout the tour.
    Due to the tours taking place in a live studio environment, we ask that children follow the same health and safety rules given at the start of each tour, and any guest who becomes a danger to themselves, other guests, the studios or the quality of the tour may be asked to leave.

  • Is there much walking involved?

    The tour involves a moderate level of walking as we make our way around the studio spaces.
    There are two flights of stairs between floors. For this reason, we ask those who feel this tour may be a struggle to complete to contact us so that one of our team members can discuss any restrictions with you before booking your tickets.

  • What do you see on the tour?

    The tour will aim to visit as many of the working studios as possible, and will feature a selection from Good Morning Britain, Lorraine, This morning and Loose Women. Due to scheduling and restrictions within the studios, we would only ever visit three out of the four sets mentioned above. We will take you behind the scenes to the production areas where you will have a chance to see and learn about the journey taken by the stars for each of our shows. Take a peek into Green Rooms, make-up departments and prop and set creation spaces. We will always endeavour to squeeze in as much as possible into your 90-minute tour. Due to restrictions previously mentioned each tour may be slightly different.

  • What should I bring with me?

    You will receive a pre-visit email informing you of a few handy essentials.
    We do insist that you don’t bring bags larger than a small rucksack, or suitcases and shopping bags as they will not be allowed into the studios building. Bag checks will take place before entering the studios.
    For security reasons, we do not provide any cloakroom or storage facilities.
    Food and drink items are also not permitted on the tour.

  • When do tours take place?

    Tours will take place on limited and selected dates throughout the year.
    As the tour takes you through fully working television studios, the Production requirements for any studio will always take priority over a tour. We have worked with the Production teams to determine key dates where we are able to access the studios for tour purposes. These dates can be found on our booking page.
    Additional dates may be added to our booking page throughout the year, so please check the website regularly to find the best dates for your booking.

  • When will 2020 Tickets go on sale?

    Tickets for 2020 and Gift tickets are now on sale until the end of April, ad the next block of tickets will be released in the new year.

  • Why are there dates without any tours?

    There are often periods of time when tours are unable to take place due to filming schedules and work taking place on the sets, in anticipation of our current and future shows.

  • Will my bag be checked when I visit?

    Security is a very big part of what we do at our studios and so all guests visiting our tour will be subject to security procedures before entering the tour. This includes the X-ray scanning of bags, body scanners and restriction to articles permitted to the tour. For more information please read our Terms and Conditions.

  • Will we see any celebrities, or see the shows being filmed live?

    Our tours take place once the daily recordings have all been completed. This means that all of the presenters and celebrity guests will have gone home.
    Do keep your eyes peeled around Television Centre and White City though, as you never know who you might see!

  • Can I bring a guide dog on the tour?

    Trained and certified Guide dogs can easily be accommodated on the tour.
    We can also modify and provide specialist touch tours or audio described tours.

  • Do you have accessible toilet facilities?

    If you have any specific requirements or feel that you will need any specific assistance, equipment or modification to the tour, please contact us to discuss this before you make any bookings.

  • Do you offer British Sign Language (BSL) tours?

    We can arrange, and will be arranging specific tours which will feature a BSL interpreter.
    If you wish to book an interpreter please contact us so we can discuss this with you.
    If you wish to bring an interpreter with you please contact us, giving us at least 48 hours notice prior to your tour date.

  • Does the tour have wheelchair access?

    Yes we do, and the majority of the tour is accessible!
    Please read our Access Statement which should answer any questions that you may have.

  • Is the tour accessible?

    Our Daytime Studios tour does contain a moderate amount of movement around the studios. We will always try and be flexible in amending the tour to accommodate our guests.

    There is a limit of ONE wheelchair user per tour due to our Health and Safety and Evacuation procedures.
    You are welcome to contact us to discuss any specific restrictions or concerns you have prior to your booking. The team will help to determine how best you can enjoy our tour, and explain any restrictions that may apply.

  • Where is the nearest disabled parking area?

    The tour is located in the Hammersmith and Fulham district, and is in close proximity to Westfield shopping centre, there are many locations in this area that allow for disabled parking. The nearest Blue Badge parking is in Westfield Shopping centre.

  • How do I get to the tour?

  • Where is the nearest car park?

    We don’t have a dedicated car park for the tour. However, there are many car parks located around the white city area, the majority located within the Westfield Shopping centre.

  • Where is the tour located?

    The ITV Daytime Studios Tour is located in White City in the Hammersmith and Fulham district of London.
    The tour itself is within the building known as Television Centre on Wood lane.
    On arrival for the tour, you should head for the main open area in the centre of the Television Centre building, and you will be directed from there to the tour meeting point.

  • Which is the nearest Tube Station to the tour?

    The Tours are located just a few minutes walk from both the White City, and Wood Lane Tube stations.

  • Payments

  • Can I pay for or book my tickets over the phone?

    All purchases are made through our website, however should you experience technical difficulty when making your booking please contact us.

  • Can I purchase my tickets or pay on site with a cheque?

    We do not accept cheques as payment either for tickets or for purchases on the day.

  • What credit and debit cards do you take as payment through the booking page?

    We accept all major debit and credit cards

  • Can I alter my booking or tour date once purchased?

    Unfortunately we are unable to amend booking dates and time slots once purchased, for this reason we ask all guests to ensure that they have selected the correct date and time for the booking they intend to make.

  • Can I purchase gift tickets?

    Gift tickets are now on sale from our booking page.

    These are valid for 12 months from purchase.

  • Do I need to book tickets in advance?

    Due to the limited capacity of guests on each tour, we strongly advise that you book online for the date and time that suits you. All bookings are subject to availability.

    If we still have capacity for tours on the day, these will be available to purchase from our Tours Hub on site at the start of the tour.

  • Do I need to print my tickets?

    There is no need to print your confirmation email if you would prefer to use your mobile phone to show this to us.

    If your ticket contains a concession or discounted ticket, you will also need to bring proof of eligibility for the discounted rate to apply.

  • Do you cater for group visits?

    Yes we do! We offer discounts for those booking 10+, 20+ and 40+ guests at any one time. If you are booking over 10 tickets for the same tour, or wish to book out multiple full tours, you can do this automatically on the ticketing page, but should you wish to book more than 40 tickets, or need assistance making your booking, please contact us.

  • Do you offer refunds?

    As specified at the time of booking, we are unable to refund tickets purchased for our tours.
    Should you wish to contact us with an issue regarding your booking, please send full information regarding your booking and issue to us, and we will review this on a case by case basis.

  • How many people does a family ticket cover?

    The family ticket can be redeemed for two adults and two children, or one adult and three children.
    Children class as aged 5-15 inclusive. 0-4 year olds go free, but you would need to book a ticket (free of charge) for them when making your booking.

  • Is the Studio Tour ever closed?

    Our opening days vary throughout the year as we base our schedule around the filming requirements for our Daytime shows.
    Please check the calendar on our main booking page to see which days we are open. Due to a limited capacity per tour, there may also be days when our tours are completely sold out.

  • Is there a discount for School groups?

    Schools and educational packages are now available, please register your interest by contacting us here.

  • Is there a maximum number of children one adult can bring?

    As a general rule, we ask that there are no more than 3 children per adult when attending the ITV Daytime Studios Tour. We want you and everyone with you to enjoy the experience, and we also need to look after our studios and sets too.

    Children must be supervised and kept under your control throughout the tour, and any children who are a hazard to themselves, the tour or the studio sets, regrettably will be asked to leave.

    Please note that we are unable to accommodate, store or allow Prams, Pushchairs or buggies onto the tour.

  • The date I wanted is sold out, are there extra tickets available on the day?

    Due to the limited capacity available for our tours, we do not hold back any tickets.
    We advise that you check the calendar on the bookings page for available dates/times.

  • What should I do if I haven’t received my tickets?

    Please check your spam or email junk box as tickets sometimes like to hide in there. However, if you still can’t find your ticket email please contact us providing as many details as you can to help us track down your booking and reissue your tickets.

  • When and how will I receive my tickets?

    All tickets will be emailed to the email address provided at the time of booking. Please check your junk mail or spam folder in case your email provider has captured it there.
    If you have not received an email with your tickets within 24 hours of making the booking, please contact us with your name and email address, and we will check all details for you and re send your tickets.

  • When will 2020 Tickets go on sale?

    Tickets for 2020 and Gift tickets are now on sale until the end of April, ad the next block of tickets will be released in the new year.

  • Will my tour or tickets ever be cancelled?

    Due to the live nature of the studios that feature on the tour, it may at times be necessary for us to cancel or rearrange your tour. If this happens, we will give up to 48 hours notice, and will always contact you to offer either an alternative date on which to honour your booking or a full refund.

  • Tour Facilities

  • Are there any Parent and baby facilities available at the tour?

    Due to the nature of the building and the location of the tours within a live studios environment, there are restrictions on the facilities available. We do have ladies, gents and accessible toilet facilities which you are more than welcome to use, but should you specifically need to discuss changing facilities or any other requirements, please contact us prior to your booking or arrival.

  • Can I bring food or drink into the tour?

    With the exception of sealed water bottles, there is no food permitted inside the studios.

  • Do you have a cloakroom?

    Unfortunately there are no cloakroom facilities for storing bags, coats or luggage within the Studios.
    We therefore, ask you not to bring bags larger than a small rucksack, or suitcases or shopping bags as they will not be allowed into the studios building.

    Bag checks will take place before entering the studios.

  • Is there a cafe at the tour?

    We are looking into drink and snack options at the tour as there is nothing currently available.
    There are many places to eat within a few minutes of the tour, and our team will be happy to recommend some places to you.

  • Who do I contact if I lose something on the tour?

    Please let your tour guide know as soon as possible if you think you have dropped or lost an item during the tour.
